Our President is Ms. Eleasicia Jenkins, and she is the reason behind why we do what we do. Eleasicia's son lost his life to suicide on July 27, 2021. He was only 18 years old. The death of her son hit our family extremely hard. With the anniversary of his death approaching, the journey without him hasn't gotten any easier, but we have found a way to cope.

Pablo Foundation was created because of the loss of Ricky White, Jr. Through this foundation, we work to rectify the disaster that suicide deaths have on our daily lives. Our organization works to share information about suicide, provide affected families, as well as individuals who are experiencing suicidal thoughts, a way to express their emotions, get help, encouraging others, aiding them in treatment and free resources, and allowing everyone the opportunity of learning how to cope.

 

Suicide doesn't have to be a leading death cause. Suicide doesn't have to be something a person fights with alone. Suicide doesn't have to take hold of so many lives. We can prevent suicide by acknowledging what it is, how it affects us, and learning to fight back!
